This unique 8-sided teapot is part of the Sadler Classic Collection, specifically the Minster Historical Series featuring King Henry VIII and his six wives. The lid of the ornate teapot is designed to resemble a crown with eight points.
On the front and back panels, King Henry VIII is prominently displayed, with his wives depicted on either side. The teapot showcases total figures of Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves, Jane Seymour, and Catherine of Aragon. Meanwhile, Catherine Parr and Catherine Howard are illustrated from the waist up on the teapot lid.
The lid is adorned with gold, and the teapot features gold trim throughout. The bottom of the teapot bears the crown logo and is marked with "Sadler 4440, Reg. Design #2010605, Made in England, King Henry VIII and His Six Wives." The names of the six wives are listed at the bottom as well.
The teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, but the bottom has light crazing.
